Lorraine Lukes-Heckman grew up in beautiful Wisconsin, on a farm near Door County where she enjoyed the scenery and the great artists of the area. She dreamed of being an artist when she was very young. Later moving to Minnesota to begin her schooling in the field of art she studied at the Atelier School and became a member of the Pastels Society. She enjoys studying reflective light and landscapes and is a emerging artist on the scene in Midwest America.
